Left Sunday, August 30, for Cleveland. Visited Great Grandma and Grandpa Carpenter. Judah had lots of fun playing upstairs in the loooong hallway. Crawled around so much that he got sweaty and his hair curled up. Grandma really liked that. Stayed overnight at the Marriott. Visited again the next day, and went up to the beach. The weather was perfect! Then we left for Pittsburgh. Got there in the evening, and visited Great Grandma and Grandpa Myers and Great Aunt Debbie. Grandma made us dinner, everyone fussed over Judah, then we went to the Hyatt (Debbie had to lead us there--the hills of Pennsylvania make for a beautiful but confusing journey). Our room was beautiful! The next day, we went to the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, which will be much more fun in a couple years. Then we went to the National Aviary. Judah was sleeping at first, but the loud birds woke him from his nap. He got a bit nervous when a chicken-sized pigeon walked up to the stroller. We then visited the Myers family again. Judah was spoiled with lots of toys, but Grandpa's cane seemed to be the most fun one of all. The next day, we packed it all up and visited one last time. Then we were off to Cleveland again. The weather was even better, so we sat out in the yard when we got to the Carpenters'. Judah crawled on the grass for the first time. Grandma and Grandpa told us stories from their youth, then sent us off with some home-made bread and fresh tomatoes. We had to get home to let the dogs out (Uncle Cheese kept them company in our absence) and do laundry, then pack for the next leg of the trip. Here are a few pictures.....
